Our life changed, but it’s important to do that, to know where you come from and where you’ve been. Krause, the reluctant funeral director from “Six Feet Under,” the newscaster from “Sports Night,” the lawyer from “Dirty Sexy Money” and now the earnest dad in NBC’s new “Parenthood,” may seem like a sophisticated troubadour, but he hasn’t traveled far from his Minnesota roots. I love them dearly and I love going back, but it was a time going to NYU to get back in school where I got to stretch myself. I was 21, fresh out of college. I thought I was really grown up at the time. When I look back on it now, I was not. When he left home for New York, he’d never been on a plane before, never seen the ocean. So I appreciated all those things.

It’s all about family for ‘Parenthood’ star Peter Krause or the family of actors at NYU, the 16 of us who went through those three years together, or the family of actors that I shared ‘Six Feet Under’ with. I still look at those people as family.”.

Parenthood said goodbye Thursday as the Bravermans welcomed new additions, dealt with a huge loss and, as always, moved forward as one big family. Nelson , would be able to attend. The episode featured another child for Joel Sam Jaeger and Sarah’s sister Julia Erika Christensen , as adopted son Victor’s half-sister joined the family, which grew one child bigger in a flash-forward sequence at the end of the episode. In that same future peek, Crosby Braverman’s wife, Jasmine Joy Bryant , is pregnant in a scene showing them as happy proprietors of The Luncheonette recording studio, Crosby’s Dax Shepard longtime dream achieved without needing his older brother’s help.
All that good news, however, was tempered by the death of Zeek, who passed away quietly in a chair near the end of the episode. He had decided earlier not to have risky heart surgery that might have prolonged his life. We wanted the season to be about telling that story and less about the shock of it, more about what the experience would be like for this family,” Katims says.
There’s an ending but there are lots of new beginnings.
Minnesota native Peter Krause is tall, handsome, wildly successful and dates Lauren Graham. In other words, we’re nothing alike — except for one thing: We’re both desperate to save “Parenthood. The NBC series has teetered on the verge of cancellation since its debut last March, but it continues to stay on the air, great news for those of us who crave a family dramedy that doesn’t feel like an after-school special.
To promote the show, Krause stopped in the Twin Cities last week and talked about the state of his woefully underappreciated series. A I don’t know if I’d call it that. But I can tell you why it’s happening: [executive producer] Ron Howard.

Can you believe Parenthood first came on the small screen more than eight years ago? We certainly can’t! The season finale aired in and honestly, we’re still having withdrawals. The Bravermans will forever be one of our favorite fictional TV families, and the actors who portrayed them hold a special place in our hearts. And while we may think of seasoned professionals like Lauren Graham , Peter Krause, and Mae Whitman as Bravermans for the rest of eternity, they were in the spotlight and walked the red carpet years before we watched them all together on NBC.
The Actress Says Her Relationship with “Parenthood” Co-Star Peter Krause is “So Easy”.
Lauren Graham once mistook Dax Shepard for another A-list star! That’s Brad Pitt! Throughout the sit-down, Graham also opens up about living next to Shepard and his wife, Kristen Bell , who have two daughters, Delta, 5, and Lincoln, 6. I mean, it’s just so fun. And he has He’s got a cut-off shirt and all of his tattoos.

Parenthood’s Monica Potter and husband Daniel split
With just a look, Mae Whitman can make the strongest of us an emotional wreck. She’s the kind of actress who acts circles around peers twice her 26 years. As Parenthood begins to say goodbye after five-plus seasons, there’s no one I wanted to feature more for Girl Talk With Over vegan nachos from Valley fave Sun Cafe , Mae and I grabbed a couple of blankets and settled into the couch at Adam and Crosby’s recording studio on the Parenthood set to talk costars, relationships, and working for Taylor Swift.
Actors are well known for falling for their co-stars when they play boyfriend while they were filming the NBC drama, Parenthood, (I’m sure you’ve heard and six years after the couple started dating, they’re still going strong.
Honestly, though fans of the Braverman family have waited; with bated breath, since rumors of a reunion first started nearly two years ago. Looking back, the series ended with some bittersweet emotions. The final six minutes of the series contained no words, but instead focused on the family running the bases at a baseball field, after saying goodbye to Zeek. If a reboot picked up where things left off, then family patriarch Zeek is deceased.
However, his involvement could mean that NBC is taking a note from the success of This Is Us, and planning to feature some flashback moments in a Parenthood reboot. And given that the flash forwards in the series finale included different story lines; playing out at different times, a reboot which follows each family; both in the present and past could work very well. Thanks to the large cast, though, the series allowed ample storylines to explore major topics like infidelity, grief, autism, teen pregnancy and more.
However, if the series took a timewarp approach, this would allow cast members and the production team to piece parts together, and not have all cast members fully present for the entirety of filming. We do know that Mae Whitman and Miles Heizer, who played Drew, have maintained a close-knit friendship , since the series ended. However, Heizer, who has kept busy with his role on 13 Reasons Why, has not confirmed his attendance to the reunion yet. In fact, any news that comes will likely be in the very early stages.
